    Thanks Ricky for reminding us just how “plush” the Granada used to be. What a great cinema it was and “Uncle Harry “ gave us some outstanding shows by top artists to add to those memories.

    Superb photos took me right back to many happy times, I know I go on about certain things but you have to admit Grantham had more to offer the public back then than they will ever have today. We don’t even have decent shops on the high street anymore.
    But wait a minute! We can have a new shopping outlet that will look modern but in reality deliver very little and that includes decent employment. Never mind all the big talk of it providing jobs…..they will all be no contract minimum wage.
    There will be nothing let of Grantham once the council and developers have finished and these photos will only serve to proof it

    I agree with all the comments above, too be honest? I cant remember the Cafe or restaurant area? really cannot? great photo’s thankyou, I remember going upstairs, and lots of the other areas! I just cannot remember a restaurant area. Tony.
